2022 Tree Lighting

On Sunday December 4, we had our traditional Holiday Tree Lighting. Fresh popped popcorn and s’mores were back by popular demand, as well as the eggnog, hot cocoa, hot cider, cookies and candy canes.

Music this year was provided by the East Islip High School A Capella Club and Mitch (our local provider of music and audio). Everyone loved the EIHS Club performance and wanted more. Mitch was his gracious self as he was for the Halloween event.

Santa arrived by help from the Great River Fire Department since we have no snow. Marshall was back by request and helped make the evening more festive.

Many thanks to the Great River Fire Department, the Committee Members and Elves (Jackie, Georgette, Eve, Charese, Eva, Bill, Carolyn, Ellen, Nancy and Tony) and the EIHS A Capella Club for making this a success.

Below are some photos that were taken during the festivities.  If you have any photos of your family that you would like to share on the site, please email us.
