2023 Menorah Lighting

On Thursday December 7, 2023 we had a beautiful evening for our yearly Menorah Lighting. 

Special thanks again to Charlie Mauner for explaining the meaning of Hanukkah, the symbolism of the Menorah, leading the prayers and lighting the first candle.  The gathering gets a little larger each year, as we celebrate the beginning of Hanukkah.

As usual, there were lots of latkes, hot chocolate, jelly donuts and gelt.  Thanks to all who attended the GRCA Annual Menorah Lighting.

Appreciation goes to Charlie and Ilene Mauner for organizing and leading the event, to Ellen Shulman for her assistance, and the Kersch family for storing and maintaining the Menorah. The Mauner family will also light the candles each night.
