On a warm, for December, afternoon the residents gathered around the Christmas Tree as the East Islip High School A Capella group sang and the people all enjoyed the usual treats.

The sound of Santa was heard by all as the Great River Fire Department brought him to our festivities. The children all got to talk with him and have photos taken. Santa led the countdown for the lighting of the Christmas Tree.

We hope everyone enjoyed the afternoon talking with neighbors and warming themselves with the refreshments.
